The Covedale PTA is a volunteer group made up of parents, teachers and interested community members. The group raises funds through several events held during the year to provide financial support to enhance the students’ education. Funds help purchase computer equipment, pay for field trips and classroom supplies, publish the school newsletter, assist with upkeep of the buildings and grounds, and support school clubs and assemblies.
The PTA also organizes volunteers to help with a number of school events. There are lots of different ways to be involved!
Meetings are held in the Covedale Library or Cafeteria on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 8AM or 6:30PM, Check the calendar for the starting time.
The Local School Decision-Making Committee is a group of parents, teachers and community representatives. The group functions in an advisory role to the principal to determine program, policy and budget issues for the school. Meetings are held the 1st Wednesday of each month in the Covedale Media Center.
There are lots of ways to be involved at school, including ways to volunteer from home. Your child will be so proud to see you help out.
